“Tax‑deductible • EIN 27-2993311 • Donor privacy protected”.
How It Works
Step 1: You give.
Step 2: We enroll youth and run a 4‑session series.
Step 3: Each student completes a Life Map + campus/industry visit.
Step 4: We follow up at 30/90 days and report outcomes back to you.
Why so many urban/system-impacted youth get “left behind”
It isn’t a lack of talent—it’s a lack of scaffolding. Teens in under-resourced neighborhoods often navigate adult decisions alone, while juggling:
Underfunded schools & limited guidance (the “hidden curriculum” of college/jobs is hard to access).
Unstable housing, food/transportation gaps, and trauma exposure that keep families in survival mode.
Paperwork & fees (IDs, tests, applications) that block momentum.
Few supportive adults & networks to open doors, proofread resumes, or make introductions.
When the path isn’t visible, short-term choices can quietly become long-term detours.
The Life Map: a simple plan with real support
A Life Map Launch Pack wraps a young person with structure and caring adults—turning “I don’t know” into “Here’s my next step.”
4 mentor sessions: weekly check-ins, SMART goals, barrier-busting.
Personalized Life Map: a one-page plan with milestones (education/training, work readiness, support network, Plan B).
Campus/industry visit: seeing the next step makes it real.
Snacks & transportation: dignity details that remove “can’t get there” as a reason.
30/90-day follow-up: we verify progress (enrollment, interviews, first paychecks) and keep them moving.
$50 Stipend: to encourage participation and award their hard work.
